WHEREAS, by resolution No. 321, pa~L~sed by the City Council of the City of
Bremerton on October 27, 1943, the City Treasurer was directed to sell the
following described real property at public sale to thc highest and best bidder,
after publication of notice of sale, and
WHEREAS, the City Treasurer d~ly advertised the said property for sale and
conducted a public sale as directed by said resolution and O. E. Bennett was the
highest and best bidder for sai~ real property, bi(~ding the total s~wn of $750.00,
to be paid as follows: $150.00 cash as a down payment and the balance of $600.00
at $10.00 per month plus interest at seven per cent per ann~, said real property
being described as follows:
Lots 1 and 2, Block 25, Charleston, Kitsap County, ¥~ashlngton.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY the City Council of the City of Bremerton
that the City Attorney is directed to prepare a contract for the sale of said
property by the City of Bremerton to said successful bidder, and the ~ayor and
City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to sign said contract on behalf of
the City of Bremerton.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney is directed to prepare s deed
to said property in fulfillment of said contract, the Mayor and City Clerk are dfr-
ected to sign the smme and the ~ity Treasurer is directed to hctd the said deed in
escrow pending full payment of the purchase price and full compliance with the
terms of the contract of sale.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton, signed by the Mayor and
attested by the City Clerk in authentication of s~c~ passage, this lOth day of
November, 1943.
