WI{MREA$, in connection with FWA Project Wash. 45-165 N, Contract No. 2, the
Valley Construction Company was requested to submit a proposal for the furnlshi~g
of all labor, materials and other costs and charges in connection with the r~mova]
of a reinforced concrete bin at Station 24 plus 60, and to furnish labor, materials
and equipment necessary for the removal, of concrete pavement for the e×csvation of
a trench between the following stations for the laying of 24 inch cast iron pipe;
76 plus 00 to V? plus 00 100 lin. ft.

1,040 lin. ft.
and
~q~EREAS, the Valley Construction Company has proposed to furnish all labor and
material in connection with the aforesaid items for the slnn of $1,930.39, and
WHEREAS, said proposal has been approved by the Federal Works Agency,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the proposal of the Valley Construction
Company be and the same is hereby accepted, and the sa~d Valley Constz'uction Company
is hereby authorized to proceed with the work provided for in said proposal.
Passed by the City Council this 3rd day of November, 1943, and signed by the ~
Nayor and City Clerk in authentication of such passage.
