RESOLUTION NO. 520
WHEREAS, the City Street Department has War Bonds of the United States of the
value of $18,000.00 in its Investment Account and has need to convert said bonds into
cash, and
WHEREAS, the City Water Department has funds in excess of $15,000.00 on hand, of
which $15,000.00 should be invested in interest bearing securities at the present
time,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Treasurer of the City of'Bremerton be
and he is hereby instructed to transfer $15,000.00 incash from the Water Department
to the Street Department, and to transfer said bonds from the Investment Account
Street Department to the Investment Account Water Bepartment, making such adjustment
in con~.ection with such transfer as may be necessary and advisable in regard to
accrued interest as shall be Just and equitable between the two departments.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton, signed by the Mayor, and
attested by the City Clerk in authentication of such passage, this 20th day of October,
1943.
