WHEREAS, House Bill No. 38, passed by the House of Representatives on Februar~ 3, 1943,
and by the Senate on March 8, 1943, and thereafter signed by the Governor of the State of
Washington, provides that at the request of the governing body of any county, city, town or
fire district, the head of any fire department of any other political subdivision may assign
and make available for duty in such county, city, town or fire district, under the direction
and command of such officer as may be designated for the purpose, any part of the fire
fighting forces and equipment under his control, and
WHEREAS, the City of Bremerton desires to comply with the said act of the legislature
and for ~hat purpose designate the person to whom such request should be made by any other
political subdivision, as provided by the aforesaid act,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That the Fire Chief of the City of Bremerton, or in
his absence the duly authorized and acting head of the fire department of the City of
Bremerton, be and he is hereby authorized to accept or reject the request of the governing
body of any county, city, town or fire district, for the use of the fire equipment of the
City of Bremerton.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton, signed by the Mayor, and attested
by the City Clerk in authentication of such passage, this ?th day of July, 1943.
