RESOLUTION NO. 298
V]I~EREA$, on April 9, 1945, the City Council of the City of Bremerton executed s contract
between the United States of Araer~ca and the City of Bremerton for the sup?lying of water,
which contract was da~ed April 9, 194~, and
WHEREAS, ~.t appears that service was first supD!ied by the City of Bre~erton ~n~.der the
?rev'~.ous oral agreer~ent, later embod~.ed ~n sa~d contract, on the 1st day of December, 19,~,
an d
~VHEREAS, ~_t is des~.rable that the ~ate of said contract should be the date when serv_~ce
was first supplied, now therefore,
~E IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton that E. C. Searle, Executi~r~
Director. of the Housing Authcrfty of the City of Bremerton, V;a~ington, the representative
of the United States of Anerica, be and be is hereby authorized to alter the date on al!
copies of said water contract to ce~form to the date of the f~rst service suppl~ed ~]nder
sa~d contract.
