WHEREAS, the Charter of the City of Bremerton provides for the appointment of a
Civil Service Commission wi~ the responsibility of making rules and regulations for the
conduct of its business, classifying city employees, and providing for open, competitive
and free examinations, and the Civil Service Commission feels it necessary to have expert
technical advice in setting up the rules and regulations, classifying city employees,
and its other duties,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that th~ City Council of the city of Bremerton be
authorized and instructed to employ the services of an expert for the purpose of working
with and advising the Civil Service Commission in connection with its said duties.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton, signed by the Mayor, and
attested by the City Clerk in authentication of such passage, this 17th day of February,
