A RESOLUTION relating to and authorizing the leasing of the Hose Drying Pent House
located on Top of Fire Station No. 1, 817 Pacific Avenue, Bremerton, Washington to the
United States. of America, for military purposes.
WHEREAS, the real estate hereinafter described, is owned by the City of Bremerton
as a Fire Station, and
WHEREAS, the United States of America has proposed to lease 'the Hose Drying Pent
House on Top of said ~ire Station for military purposes; and
WHEREAS, it is to the interest of the people of the City of Bremerton that such be
done;
NOW THEREFOR, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor of the City of Bremerton is authorized
and directed to execute in it's behalf a lease and survey to the United States of America,
for the period from February 17, 1943 to June 30, 19A7 for the following premises:
Situated in the City of Bremerton, County of Kitsap, State of
Washington; Hose Drying Pent House, Top of City of Bremerton
Fire Station No. 1, located at 817 Pacific Avenue.
On the following described property:
Beg. at a point 174.2 ft..So, of S.W. corner Pacific Ave. &
9th St., thence So. 60 ft. thence W. 102 ft. thence No. 60
ft. thence E. 102 ft. to beg. except N. 10 ft. thereof.
PASSED the City Council unanimously this 17th day of February, 1943, in open
assembly.
