WHEREAS, a contract for the construction of a twenty-four (24) inch water supi.ly
line in connection with the improvement of the Bremerton Waterworks, known as Wash.
Docket 45-165, has been awarded the Valley Construction Company, and
WHEREAS, the beginning of the work pursuant to said contract by the Valley Con-
struction Company was delayed until proper priority n~nbers were secured for the
purchase of materials, and
WHEREAS, it will be impossible for the Valley Construction Company to complete
said contract within the time provided for in said contract, which inability is
occasioned without any fault on the part of the Valley Construction Company and said
Valley Construction Company has requested an extension of ninety days in addition
to the time provided for in said contract,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that thc time limit wi.thin which such work is to
be completed by the Valley Construction Company be an~t the same is hereby extended
for a period of ninety days in addition to the time provided for in the aforementioned
contract by the Valley Construction Company and the City of Bremerton.
