A RESOLUTION relating to the dumping of garbage by the City of Bremerton, Washington.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISglON OF THE CITY OF BR~ERTON:
Section 1. That the City having heretofore sold to the Housing Authority of theCity
of Bremerton, a portion of the present site of Westpark, Wash 3-1, theBremerton Housing
Authority Defense Project, on which theCity had been maintaining a garbage dump, and the
City of Bremerton having continued to dump garbage in sa~d area after its acquisition by
the Bremerton Housing Authority, under agreement with said Authority, for the purpose of
filling the depression in said area; and the Reginnal Office of the~Untted States Housing
Authority having demanded full assurances from the City of Bremerton that said refuse
dump will be eliminated by the estimated date for the physical completion of said Hous~.ng
Project;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City of Bremerton does hereby declare and agree that all dumping
of garbage on said area will be terminated by May 9th, 1941.
PASSED by the City Commission of the City of Bremerton, and attested by the City Clerk
in authentication of such passage, this 18th day of December, 1940.
