WHEREAS, the Directors of the Marine Drive Water District, a municipal corporation,
have signed and presented to the City of Bremerton for signature, a certain contract
which has been read to the City Commission and which provides for the furnishing of
surplus water to the inhabitants and residents of said Marine Drive Water District, and
which said agreement provides that the City of Bremerton will read meters and collect
revenues and will refund to the ~V~arine Drive '~ater District twenty (20%) per cent of
the gross revenues collected from the sale of water, and it appearing to the City Comm-
ission that the said contract amply protects the City of Bremerton, and that it is fair
and e~uitable for the City of ~remerton to remit twenty per cent of the gross revenues
to the Treasurer of the Marine Drive ~Nater District on account of the fact that the water
system has been installed and will be paid for by water users within the ~arine Drive
~¥ater District, and it further appearing that the charge, to be ~ollected by the City of
Bre~erton, '~ill be the same amount charged to water users residing outside the limits of
B~emerton,
N0~ THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY C0~_~MISSION OF THE CITY OF BREMERTON, that
the Msyor and City Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and instructed to sign the
said contract for and on behalf of the City of ~remerton.
PASSED by the City Commission of the City of Bremerton, signed by the Mayor and
attested by the City Clerk in authentication thereof, this llth day of December, 19~0.
