~HEREAS, there has been submitted to the City Commissioners of the City of
Bremerton, a petition signed by two-thirds (2/3) of the private property owners
abutting and adjacent to the South side of 13th Street, between Pennsylvania
and High Streets in the City of Bremerton, Kitsap County, Washington, petitioning
for the vacating of the South l0 feet of 13th Street abutting Lot l, Block l,
Gsle and Miller's Addition to Bremerton, Washington, and the Council being fully
advised in the premises, tt is therefore
RESOLV~D, that said Detttion be heard on Wednesday the 20th day of November,
1940, at the hour of ten O'clock A.M. in the council chambers in the City Hall at
Bremerton, Washington, and the clerk of the City of Bremerton, is hereby directed
to give twenty (20) days notice of the pendency of said petition by written or
printed notices set up in three (3) or more public places in the City of Bremerton,
and a notice in a conspicuous place on the street sought to be vacated, which said
notices are to contain a statement that a petition has been filed to vacate the
South 10 feet of 13th Street abutting Lot 1, Block 1, Gale and Miller's Addition
to Bremerton, Washington, together with a statement containing the time and place
for the hearing of said petition.
PASSED this 23rd day of October, 1940, by the City Commissioners of the City
of Bremerton, Kitsap County, Washington.
