WHEREAS, the City of Bremerton proposes to improve by grading certain streets in
the City by the formation of a Local Improvement District; Ohio,'Avenue et al, Chester
Avenue, Lincoln Avenue, Fourteenth, Fifteenth, and Seventeenth Streets,
AND 'NHEREAS, the cost of this improvement to the district appears to be excessive;
and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to procure financial aid other than the funds furnished
by the Local Improvement District, and
WHEREAS, there is allocated to the City of Bremerton certain funds from the State
Gasoline Tax;
N0?~, THEREFORE be it resolved that the State Highway Department of the State of
Washington be requested to approve the use of a portion of this Gas Taz Fund to the
amount of Two Thousand Five HundredDollars ($2,500.00) to help defray the expense of
this improvement to the property owners within the district.
PASSED by the City Commission of the City of Bremerton, signed by the Mayor and
attested by the City Clerk in authentication of such passage this 21st day of August,
1940.
