WHEREAS, the persons hereinafter mentioned have had taxi-d~iver's licenses
issued to them by the City of Bremerton, and were arrested by State officials and
convicted in police court on July 1~, 1940, as being guilty of violating the State
liquor laws, and
'~tEREAS, the Chief of Police of the City of Bremerton has recommended to the
City Commission that the taxi-driver's licenses of the said persons be revoked pur-
suant to the provisions of Section 2, of Ordinance No. 1146 of the City of
Bremerton, now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of the City of Bremerton, that the
licenses to drive taxicabs in the City of Bremerton of the following named persons
be and the said licenses are hereby revoked:
George E. Storey, 225~ Burwell
Wilbur J. Walston, Regent Hotel
Eillard G. Beckner, Retsil, Washington.
PASSED by the City Commission of the City of Bremerton, signed by the Mayor,
and attested by the City Clerk in authentication of such passage, this 20th day of
~uly, 1940.
