Home My WebLink About087 RESOLUTION NO. 87 WHEREAS, the County of Kitsap, State of Washington, foreclosed for general taxes on the following described real property, to-wit, Lots 3 and 4, Block 12, L. S. Rowe's Addition to ~remerton, Kitsap County, Washington, and the said property was struck off to the said Kitsap County at the tax foreclosure sale, there were de].inouent assessments against the said property payable to differ- ent local improvement districts in the City of sremerton, and the City of Bremerton did pay to Kitsap County the taxes thereon as by law provided and has now a Treasurer's Deed to the said property, and the said oity of ~ren~r'ton is desirous of selling said property to pay the taxes and delin~luent assessments assessed agetnst the said real property. ~!OW THEREFORE, BE IT ~ESOLVED, by the City Commission of the City of qremerton, that the ~ayor and City Cl~rk thereof, be and they are hereby author- izod and directed to sell said above described real property to ~. E. Foss and ~,!innie ~'oss, his wife, for the total purchase price of Twelve ~.undred Dollars and for that purpose to enter into a contract with the said and ~innIe ~'oss, his wife, for said sale in the name of the City of Bremerto~, the said contract to provide for a cash payment of ~240.00, and the balance the sum o~ ~960.00, payable in monthly installments of ~25.00, t~lus ~nter~t st seven per cent per ann~, payable at the time said ~nstallments are pa~d, the said contract t~) provide that the purchaser shall pay the taxes and assessments hereafter levied, and provide that time be the essence of the contract, with forfeiture cf moneys paid, in the event that the purchase price is not paid within the time provided therein, and also to execute a deed in the name of the Cit3 oF Bremerton in favor of J. E. Foss ,and ~innie Foss, his wife, the said deed to be retained by the City Clerk unb~l the full purchase price is pa~d, to,ether w~bh interest thereon, ~d to be delivered to said Durcbaser at such time as the said purchase price and interest are paid in full.
