WHEREAS, it is essential and necessary that the City of Bremerton,
Washington, cooperate as a ~ember with the other administrative bodies
of the Puget Sound Basin in the operation and functions of the Puget
Sound Regional Planning Commission, created, organized and functioning
under the provisions of Ohapter 44, Session Laws of 1935 of the State
of Washington, and
'~HEREAS, such cooperation is essential to the proper and orderly
development of the regional problems in the Puget Sound Basin territory,
proposing solutions for same and to lend assistance towards coordinating
the activities of agencies now existing or which may come into being with
relation to such problems, and
~¥HERE~S, such coordination is more especially desireable in connect-
ion with the purposes of national defense for this area, and
~VHEREAS, in accordance with the constitution and by-laws of the
Puget Sound Hegtonal~Planning Commission providing for regular membership
in said organization, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, that in accordance with said constitution and by-laws
of the Puget Sound ~egional Planning CommissiOn, we adopt herewith and
designate 0. ~. Oasad, uity Engineer and Homer ~. Jones, Mayor, to repre-
sent this body as members of said Puget Sound Regional Planning Commission.
