WHEREAS, the City of Bremerton and the United States Housing Authority have
heretofore entered into an agreement dated April 7, 1941, regarding the
acouisition of property for, and the construction of, a reservoir north of
Manette, for the furnishing of water to the City of Bremerton, and
WHEREAS, as a part of its performance of said agreement, and pursuant to
Resolution dated April 30, 1941, the said City has heretofore acquired title to
the following described real property:
From the southeast corner of the northeast quarter of the
northwest quarter of Section 12, Township 24 North, Range
i East, W.M., thence north 2o03'18" East along the north
and south quarter line of said section 12, 498.56 feet;
thence north 87°56'42" west 50.00 feet to the true point
of beginning; thence north 87056'42" west 220.00 feet;
thence north 2o03'10" east 300.00 feet; thence south
87°56'42" east 220.00 feet; thence south 2°03'18" west
300.00 feet to the true point of beginning, situated in
Kitsap County, Washington,
which property is to be the site of said reservoir and is to be conveyed to the
United States of America, pursuant to said agreement, no~ therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BREMERTON:
That the Mayor and the City Clerk be authorized to execute a deed to the
above described property in favor of the United States of America, on behalf of
said City.
