L~SiEREAS, the County of Kitsap, State of Nashington, foreclosed for general taxes on
the fellcwing described real l.roperty, to-wit, lot 11, Block 3, First Addition t~
Charleston, Kitsap County, Washington, and the said property was struck off to the
said Kitsap County at the tax foreclosure sale, there were delinquent assessments
against the said property payable to different local improvement districts in
the City of Bremerton, and the City of Bremerton did pay to Kitsap County the
taxes thereon as by law provided and has now a Treasurer's Deed to the said
property, and the said City of Bremerton is desirous of selling said property
to pay the taxes and delinquent assessments assessed against the said real property,
NOW EEREFORE, BE IT RESOL~D, by the City Co~ission of the City of Bremerton,
that the Mayor and City Clerk thereof, be and they are hereby authorized and
directed to sell ~id above described real property to D. J. V~der Santen and
Sada Vender Santen, his wife, for the total purchase price of One Hundred Fifty
($150.00) Dollars and for that p~pose to enter into a contract with the said
D. J. Vander Santen ~d Sada Vander Santen, his wife, for said sale in the n~e
of the City of Bremerton, the said contract to provide for a cash pa~ent of
$30.00, and the balance in the s~ of $120.00, payable in monthly installments of
$5.00, plus interest at seven per cent per annum, payable at the time said
installments are paid, the said contract to provide that the purchaser shall pay
the taxes and assessments hereafter levied, and provide that time be the essence
of the contract, with forfeit~e of moneys paid, in the event that the purchase
price is not paid within the time provided therein, and also to execute a deed
in the name of the City of Bremerton in favor of D. J. Vander Santen and Sada Vander
Sant~n, his wife, the said deed to be retained by the City Clerk until the full
purchase price is paid, together with interest thereon, and to be delivered to
said purchaser at such time as the said purchase price and interest are paid in
full.

and attested by the City Clerk in authentication of such passage on the 14th
day of May, 1941.
