WHEREAS, the County of Kitsap, State of Washington, foreclosed for general
taxes on Lots 8 and 9, Block 18, Reese's First Addition to Port Orchard United
States Navy Yard, Kitsap County, Washington, and the said property was struck
off to the said Kitsap County at the tax foreclosure sale; that at the time of
such foreclosure sale, there were delinquent assessments against the said
property payable to the different local improvement districts in the City of
Bremerton; and the City of Bremerton did pay to Kitsap County the taxes thereon
as by law provided and now has a Treasurer's deed to the said property, and the
said City of Bremerton is desirous of selling said property to pay the taxes
and delincuent assessments assessed against the said real property, now therefore
BE IT RESCLVED by the City Commission of the City of Bremerton, that the
~ayor and City Clerk thereof be and they are hereby authorized and directed to
sell said above described property to H. L. White and sertha A. Whfte, his wife,
for the total cash purchase price of Eight Iiundred and no/lOOths ($800.00)
Dollars, and to execute a deed in the name of the City of Bremerton in favor of
said H. L. White and Bertha A. 'Nhite, his wife, for delivery to said purchasers
upon full payment of the said purchase price.
PASSED by the City Commission of the City of Bremerton, signed by the Mayor,
and attested by the City Clerk in authentication of such passage, this 14th day
of May, 1941.
