~HEREAS, the County of Kitsap, State of Washington, foreclosed for general
taxes on the East half of Lot 17, Slock 9, L. S. Howe's ~'irst Addition to
Bremerton, Kitsap County, Washington, and the said property was struck off to
the said Kitsap County at the tax foreclosure sale; that at the time of such
foreclosure sale, there were delinquent assessments against the said property
payable to the different local improvement d~stricts in the City of sremerton;
and the City of Bremerton did pay to Kitsap County the taxes thereon as by law
provided and now has a Treasurer's deed to the said property, and the said ~ity
of Bremerton is desirous of selling said property to pay the taxes and
delinquent assessments against the said. real property, now therefore
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of the City of Bremerton, that the
Mayor and City ulerk thereof be and they are hereby authorized and directed
to sell said above described property to ~'red L. Pruitt and Ethel L. Pruitt,
his wife for the total cash purchase price of Three ~undred and no/100ths
($300.00i Dollars, and to execute a deed in the name of the City of Bremerton
in favor of said Fred L. Pruitt and Ethel L. Pruitt, his wife, for delivery to
said purchasers upon full payment of the said purchase price.
PASSED by the City Commission of the City of Bremerton, signed by the Mayor,
and attested by the City Clerk in authentication of such passage, this 14th
day of May, 1941.
