ORDINANCE NO. 70
~EREAS, Kitsap County, a municipal corporation, by and through the County Treas-
urer of said Kitsap County, deeded to City of Bremerton, a municipal corporation, by
deed dated May 5, 1938, filed for record May 5, 1938, in Book 232, Deeds, Page 520,
Auditor's File No. 279745, certain real property situated within the City of Bremerton,
Kitsap County, Washington, including among such property the following described
property:
Lot 5, Block 10, Second Addition to Charleston, Kitsap County, Washington,
and
~HEREAS, said deed recited that the said property had been deeded to Kitsap
County by general tax foreclosure in the manner and form provided by law, and the City
of Bremerton having ~heretofore levied assessments upon the same and tendered and paid
unto the said Kitsap County the face of such taxes with costs and without interest and
penalty, and .~
~ERE~S, the said above described property had not been deeded to the county by
general tax foreclosure and the City of Bremerton had not tendered and paid the said
county the face of such taxes with costs and without interest and penalty, and
~HEREAS, the said above described property should not have been included in said
deed and was included therein solely and entirely because .of oversigh~ error and
mistake, and
:,VHEREAS, it is now necessary in order to clear the title of the owner of said
property from any could arising through said erroneous deed
NOW, T~REFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Commission of the City of Bremerton
that the ~!ayor and the city Clerk thereof, be and they are hereby authorized and
directed to execute a cult claim deed in the name of the City of Bremerton in favor
of ~£ildred A. Boschert, an unmarried woman, conveying unto the said Mildred A. Boschert
the within and above described real property.
PASSED by the City Co~mission of the City of Bremerton, signed by the Mayor and
attested by the City Clerk in authentication of such passage on the seventh day of
~,~ay, 1941.
