Home My WebLink About039 RESOLUTION NO. 39 :.~HEREAS, the County of Kitsap, State of Washington, foreclosed for general taxes on the following described real property, to-wit, Lots ll and 12, Block lC, L. ,S. Rowe's Addition to Bremerton, Kitsap County, State of Washington, and the s~nid property was struck off to the said Kitsap County at the tax foreclosure sale; and that at the time of such foreclosure sale, there were delinquent assessments against the said property payable to different iocal improvement districts in the City of Bremerton, and the City of Bremerton did pay to Kitsap County the taxes thereon as by law provided and has now a '?reasurer's Deed to the said property, and the said City of Bremerton is desirous of sellin~ said property to pay the taxes and delinquent assessments assessed agsinst the said real property, N0~V TM~REFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of the City of _~remerton, that the I~ayor and City Clerk thereof, be ~,nd they are hereby authorized and directed to sell s~id above described property to Isidore Sclare, a divorced man, for the total pmrchose ~rice of f~783.00, and for that purpose to enter into a contract with the said Isidore Sclare, a divorced man, for said sele in the name of the City of Bremerton, the s,~id contract to provide for a cash payment of ~83.00, and the balance in the scm of $700.00 payable in monthly installments of $25.00 per month, plus interest at seven per cent Fer annum, payable at the time said installments are paid, the said contract to provide that the purchaser shall pay the taxes and assessments hereafter levied, and provide that time be the essence of the contract, with forfeiture of moneys paid, in the event that the purchase price is not paid within the time provided therein, ~nd olso to execute deed in the name of the City of Bremerton in favor of said Isidore Sclare, ~ divorced man, the said deed to be retained by the City Clerk until the full purchase price is paid, together ~ith interest thereon, and to be delivered to said purchaser at such time as the said purchsse price and interest thereon are p~id in full.
