RESOLUTION NO. 30
?~EREAS, the County of Kitsap, State of Washington, foreclosed for ~enersl taxes
on the following described real property to-wit, Lots 13 and 14, Plat of Klinghammer's
Addition to Bremerton, Kitsap County, Washington, and the said property wss struck off
to the said Kitsap County at the tax foreclosure sale; and that at the time of such
foreclosure sale, there were delinquent assessments against the said property ?ayable
to different local improvement districts in the City of Bremerton, and the City of
Bremerton did pay to Kitsap County the taxes thereon as by law provided 8nd has now a
Treasurer's Deed to the said property, and the said City of Bremerton is desiro~s of
selling Said property to pay the taxes and delinquent assessments assessed against the
said real property,
N0~ THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Commission of the City of Bremerton,
that the Mayor and City Clerk thereof, be,and they are hereby authorized ~.nd directed
to sell said abive described real property to Marvin A. Ranch amd C. Beryl ~ench, his
wife, for the total purchase price of Seven Hundred Fifty ($750.00) Dollars, and for
that purpose to enter into a contract with the said Marvin A. Ranch and C. Beryl Ranch,
his wife, for said sale in the name of the City of Bremerton, the said contract to pro-
vide for a cash payment of One Hundred Fifty ($150.00) Dollars, and the balance in the
sum of Six Hundred ($600.00) Dollars, payable in monthly installments of $20.00 per
month, plus interest at seven per cent Der annum, payable at the time said installments
are paid, the said contract to provide that the purchaser shall pay the taxes and
assessments hereafter levied, and to provide that time be the essence of the contract,
with forfeiture of moneys paid, in the event that the purchase price is not paid within
the time provided therein, and also to execute a deed in the name of the City of
Bremerton in favor of Marvin A. Ranch and C. Beryl Ranch, his wife, the said deed to be
retsined by the City Clerk until the full purchase price is paid, together with interest
thereon, and to be delivered to said purchasers at such time as the said purchase price
and interest are paid in full.
PASSED by the City Commission of the City of Bremerton, signed by the ~ayor and
attested by the City Clerk in authentication of such passage, on the 19th day of
February, 1941.
