?~ER~A$, the County of Kitsap, State of Washington, foreclosed for general
taxes on Lot Six, Block 2, First Addition to Charleston, Kitsap County, State of
W~shington, and the said property was struck off to the said Kitsap County at the
said tax foreclosure sale; and that at the time of such foreclosure sale, there
were delinouent assessments against the said property payable to different local
improvement districts in the City of 0harleston, prior to its consolidation with
the City of Bremerton; and the City of Bremerton did pay to Kitsap County the taxes
thereon as by law provided and now has a Treasurer's deed to said property; and the
said City of Bremerton is desirous of selling said property to pay the taxes and
delinquent assessments assessed against said property, now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of the City of Bremerton that the
an8 the City Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and directed to sell said above
described property to William ?enneson, a bachelor, for the total purchase price of
Cne Hundred Ten and no/100ths (~110.00) Dollars, and for that purpose to enter into
a contract with the said William Tenneson, a bachelor, for said sale in the name of
the City of Bremerton, the said contract to provide for a cash payment of $22.00,
and the balance of $88.00 payable in monthly installments of $5.00 per month,
together with interest at 7% per annum, payable at the time said installments are
paid; the said contract to provide that the purchaser shall pay the taxes and assess-
ments hereafter levied and to orovide that time be the essence of the contract, ~ith
forfeiture of moneys paid, in the event that the purchase price is not paid within
the time provided therein, and also to execute a deed in the name of the City of
Bremerton in favor of William Tenneson, a bachelor, the said deed to be retained by
the City Clerk until the full purchase price is paid, together with interest there-
on, and to be delivered to said purchaser at such time as the said purchase price
and interest shall have been paid in full.
PASSED by the City Commission, signed by the ~ayor and attested by the City
Clerk in authentication of such passage, this 19th day of February, 1941.
