RESOLUTION NO. 24
'~StEREAS, the County of Kitsap, State of Washington, foreclosed for general taxes
on the following described real property to-wit, Lot 8, Block 4, Peter Hesser's Add-
ition to Bremerton, Kitsap County, Washington, and the said property was struck off
to the said Kitsap County at the tax foreclosure sale; and that at the time of such
foreclosure sale, there were delinouent assessments against the said property payable
to different local improvement districts in the City of Bremerton, and the City of
Bremerton did pay to Kitsap County the taxes thereon as by law provided and has now a
Treasurer's Deed to the said property, and the said City of Bremerton is desirous of
selling said property to pay the taxes and delinquent assessments assessed against the
said real property,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the 0ity 0ommission of the City of Bremerton,
that the Mayor and 0ity Clerk thereof, be and they are hereby authorized and directed
to sell said above described real property to lira. Ann Studebaker, a married woman,
for the total purchase price of Six Hundred Seventy and/100ths ($670.00) Dollars, and
for that purpose to enter into a contract with the said Mrs. Ann Studebaker, a married
woman, for said sale in the name of the City of Bremertgn, the said contract to pro-
vide for a cash payment of $134.00, and the balance in the sum of $536.00, payable in
monthly installments of $25.00 per month, plus interest at seven per cent per annum,
payable at the time said installments are paid, the said contract to provide that the
purchaser shall pay the taxes and assessments herefnafter levied, and provide that time
be the essence of the contract, with forfeiture of moneys paid, in the event that the
purchase price is not paid within the time provided therein, and also to execute a
deed in the name of the 0ity of Bremerton in favor of said Mrs. Ann Studebaker, a married
woman, the said deed to be retained by the 0fry Clerk until the full purchase price is
paid, together with interest thereon, and to be delivered to said purchaser at such
time as the said purchase price and interest are paid in full.
PASSED by the City Commission of the City of Bremerton, signed by the ~:ayor and
attested by the City Clerk in authentication of such passage, on the 13th day of Feb-
ruary,.1941.
