HomeMy WebLinkAbout017 RESOLUTION NO. 17
L~REREAS, the office of the Building Inspector of the City of Bremerton
has been moved to the top floor of t~e 9ity Hall, and it would be highly
inconvenient for persons seeking permits under the jurisdiction of the
office of the Building Inspector to be required to pay the fees for such
permits in the City Treasurer's office and to be required to return to the
Building Inspector's office for a permit, and in addition to the inconven-
ience to the general public, such procedure would cause delay and additional
work for the Building Inspector and other inspectors under his Jurisdiction,
now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission that the Building Inspector of
the City of Bremerton and the other inspectors working out of his office be
and they are hereby authorized to accept permits fees, issue receipts there-
for, and turn over to the City Treasurer, daily, all moneys so received.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that receipts issued shall be in form approved
by the City Clerk and by the Commissioner of Finance, and each receipt shall
be made out in triplicate, and the Building Inspector and his force, shall
accept no funds from any source without issuing an official receiDt therefor.
PASSED by the City Commission of the City of Bremerton, signed by the
~!ayor, and attested by the City Clerk in authentication of such passage,
this 5th day of February, 1941.
