RESOLUTION NO. 173
BE IT RESOLVED that the following described real property of the City of
Brenmrton, a municipal corporation, be sold to E. B. Lent and Ethel M. Lent,
his wife, Theodore Blomberg and Marian J. Blomberg, his wife, and H. D. Lent
and L. Irene Lent, his wife, for the total purchase price of Ten Thousand
($10,000.00) Dollars to be paid in cash on delivery of a warranty deed, and
that the City furnish a policy of title insurance to the said purchasers:
Lots 22 and 23, Joseph Daly's Garden Tracts; and
Lots 4 and 5, East half of Lot 3, and East half of
South 40 feet of Lot 2, Supplemental Plat of Bay
View Garden Tracts, Kitsap County, Washington,
RESERVING, however, to the City of Bremerton an
easement to maintain and keep in repair the sewer
pipe now installed across or on said lots, and
grantor particularly reserves the sewer easements
granted tc the City of Bremerton by Duncan J. Clark
and wife on July 10, 1939, and recorded in Vol. 258
of deeds on pages 67 and 68, records of Kitsap
County Auditor's File ~os. 305862 and 305863; also
sewer pipe easement dated Liarch 12, 1940, recorded
in Vol. 260 of deeds, page 272, Kitsap County Auditor's
File No. 308382.
In addition to the foregoing the grantor conveys
and quit claims to the grantee all rights the grantor
may have to the tidelands and waterfront area fronting
and abutting on the natural water course or ravine
along the Easterly portion of Lot l, SuPplemental Plat
of Bay View Garden Tracts, and fronting on the East 25
feet of said Lot 1.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk be and they are hereby
authorized and directed to make, execute and deliver to the said purchasers in
the name of the City of Bremerton a warranty deed to the said real property and
to (~eliver the same, with proper federal and state transfer tax stamps thereon
u[~on payment of said sum of $10,000.00; and to order and deliver to said
purchasers a policy of title insurance the cost of said stamps and title ins-
urance to be paid for out of said purchase price.
PASSED by the City Commission of the City of Bremerton, signed by the
~ayor, and attested by the City Clerk in authentication of such passage, this
31st day of December, 1941.
