WHEREAS, ~f. G. ~cLeod, Building Inspector, has addressed a letter to the Mayor of
the City of Bremerton, dated December 8, 1941, headed, "Recommendation from the Building
Department," containing recommendations relating to preparation for the taking care of
emergencies which might arise in the City of Bremerton out of the state of war now existing,
and
WHE!IEAS', tke City Co~issioners of the. City of Bremerton believe that said recommen-
dations have merit and that they should receive immediate and serious consideration and that
the Building Inspector of the City of Bremerton and his entire department is immediately
ready to assist in putting said recommendations into effect, if called upon to do so,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that said letter be referred to Sergeant I. G. Sullivan,
coordinator for the Bremerton Defense Council, and the City Clerk be and he is hereby in-
structed to hand said letter, together with a copy of this resolution to said coordinator
~mmediately following the close of this meeting.
PASSED by the City Commission of the City of Bremerton, signed by the Riayor, and
attested by the City Clerk in authentication of such passage, this lOth day of December
1941.
