'~!ERE,,iS, the County of Kitsap, Stste of Washington, foreclosed for general taxes on
the fo]_lowin!~ described real property, to-wit, Lot 18 and the West t~alf of Lot 17, in
Bloc~ 9, L. S. Rowe's ~ddition to Bremerton, Kitsap County, Washington and the said prop-
e~ty was struck off to the said >[itsap 6ounty at the tax foreclosure sale, there were de-
].inquent assessments against the said property payable to different local improvement dis-
tricts in the City of ~remerton, and the City of Bremerton did pay to Kitsap County the
taxes thereon as by law provided and has now a Treasurer's Deed to the said property, snd
the said City of Bremerton is desirous of selling said property to psy the taxes and de-
linquent assessments assessed against the said real property,
NOW THER~FORE, B~ IT RESOLVED, by the City Commission of the City of Bremerton, that
the i'~'ayor and City Clerk thereof, be and they are hereby authorized and directed to sell
said above described real property to Truman F. Fick and Ina I~'~ay Fici~, his wife, for the
total purchase price of i~ine Hundred (,~900.00) Dollars and for that purpose to enter into
a contract with the said Truman F. Fick and Ina kay Fick, his wife, for said sale in the
name of the City of Bremerton, the said contract to provide for a casb payment in monthly
installments of $20.00, plus interest at seven per cent per annum, payable at the time
said ~nstallments are paid, the said contract to provide that the purchaser shall pay the
taxes snd assessments hereafter levied, and provide that time be the essence of the con-
tract, with forfeiture of moneys paid, in the event that the purchase price is not paid
within the time provided therein, and alos to execute a deed in the name o~' the City cf
Bremerton in favor of Truman r'. Fick and Ina ~,'.ay Fick, his wife, the said deed to be
retained by the City Clerk until the full purchase price is paid, together with interest
thereon, and to be delivered to said purchaser at such times as the said purchase price
and interest are paid in full.
?ASSED by the City Commission of the City of ~remerton, signed by ~ayor and attested
by the City Clerk in authentication of such passage on the 19th day of November 1941.
