RESOLUTION NO. 153
~.~HEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Bremerton passed Resolution No. 144, on the
20th day of October 1941, granting at the request of the U. S. Army an option for the purchase
of the following described real property:
Lot 10, Tract 5, Warren Smith s,Tracts, ~itsap County, Washington,
for the purpose of constructing thereon a recreational center in the City of Bremerton, it
now appears that the U. S. Army will not construct said recreation center.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said Resolution No. 144 be and the same is hereby
cancelled and declared void and of no force and effect.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Resolution No. 140 dated October 15th 1941, wherein and where-
by the City Com~.ission of the City of Bremerton appointed in fact for the purpose of const-
tucting the PorJect known as Bremerton Recreational Building, Federal Works Agency Public
Works Docket 45-133, be and the said Resolution is hereby ratified, confirmed and approved,
and the City Clerk of the City of Bremerton is hereby authorized and directed to execute a
warrant in the sum of Twenty five Hundred (~,500.00) Dollars, drawn on the Current Expense
Fund of the City of Bremerton, in favor of the Housing Authority of the City of Bremerton,
the same to be used by the said Housing Authority, for the purpose of defraying initial
expenses which will be incurred in connection with the said project, same to be repaid to
the city without interest as soon as the said Housing Authority shall receive funds from the
Government in connection with the said project.
PASSED by the City Commission of the City of Bremerton, signed by the ~ayor, and attested
by the City Clerk in authentication of such passage, this 29th day of October 1941.
