WHEREAS, the County of Kitsap, State of Washington, foreclosed for general taxes on
the following described real property, to-wit, Part of Lot l, Block 6, Warren Smith's
Acre Tracts, beginning at the Southeast corner of Lot l, Block 6, thence No. 31.77 ft.;
thence W. 1~1.37 ft.; thence S. 31.77 ft.; thence No. 131.37 ft.; to beginning, Kitsap
County, Washington, and the said property was struck off to the said Kitsap County at the
tax foreclosure sale, there were delinquent assessments against the said property payable
to different local improvement districts in the City of Bremerton, and the City of Brem-
erton did pay to Kitsap County the taxes thereon as by law provided and has now a Treasurer's
Deed to the said property, and the said City of Bremerton is desirous of sell~ng said property
to pay the taxes and delinquent assessments assessed against the said real property,
NOW TTiEREFCRE, Bi~ IT RESOLVED, by the City Commission of the City of Bremerton, that
the ~ayor and City Clerk thereof, be and they are hereby authorized and d~rected to sell said
above described real property to A. F. Kalaroff and Gertrude L. Kalaroff, his wife, for the
total purchase price cf Three Hundred Fifty (350.00) Dollars and for that purpose to enter
into a contract w~th the said A. F. Kalaroff and Gertrude L. Kalaroff, his wife, for said
sale in the name of the City of Bremerton, the said contract to provide for a cash payment
of $70.00, and the balance in the sum of $289.00, payable in monthly installments of $15.00,
plus interest at seven per cent per annum, payable at the time said installments are paid,
the said contract to provide that the purchaser shall pay the taxes and assessments here-
after levied, and provide that time be the essence of the contract, with forfeiture of
moneys paid, in the event that the purchase price is not paid within the time provided there-
in, and also to execute a deed in the name of the City of Bremertnn in favor of A. F.
Kalaroff and Gertrude L. Kalaroff, his wife, the said deed to be retained by the City Clerk
until the full purchase price id paid, together with interest thereon, and to be delivered
to ss~d ~urch~ser at such time ~s the said purchase price and interest are paid in full.
PASSED by the City Commission of the City of Bremerton, signed by the Mayor and attested
by the City Clerk in authentication of such passage on the 29th day of October 1941.
