7HE2EAB, the County oF Kitsap, State of Washington, foreclosed for general taxes
on the following described foal property, to-wit, Lot 16, Block 18, Reese's First
.:~ttition to ~ort Orchard, United States Navy Yard, Kitsap County, Washington, and the
said property was struck off to the said Kitsap County at the t~x foreclosure sale,
there were delinquent assessments against the said property payable to different local
improvement districts in the City of Bremerton, and the City of Bremerton did pay to
Kitsap County the taxes thereon as by law provided and has now a Tressurer's Deed to
the said 'property, and the said City of Bremerton is desirous of selling s~id property
to pay the taxes aud delinquent assessments assessed against the said real property,
;,!0W THE~EF0~E, ~E IT RESOLVED, by the City Commission o£ the City of Bremerto~,
that the ~ayor and City Clerk thereof, be and they are hereby authorized and directed to
sell said above described real property to a. Abrams, a widower
For said sale in the name of the City of Bremerton, the said contr~ct to provide for a
cabs payment of $70.00, and the balance in the sum of $220.00, payable in monthly in-
stallments of $10.00, plus interest at seven per cent per annum, payable at the time
s~id installments are paid, the said contract to provide that the purchaser shall pay
the taxes and assessments hereafter levied, and ~rovide that time be the essence of the
contract, with forfeiture of moneys paid, in the event that the purchase price is not
paid wit~.in the time provided therein, and also to execute deed in the name of the City
of Bremerton ~n favor of A. Abrams, a widower, -the said deed
to be retained by the City Clerk until the full purchase price is paid, together with
interest thereon, and to be delivered to said purchaser at such time as the said pur-
chase price and interest are paid in full.
PASSED, by the';~ity Commission of the City of Bremerton, signed by the ~ayor and
attested by the City Clerk in authentication of such passage on the 15th day of
October, 1941.
