~ESOLUTION NO. 135
'THEREAS, the Un~.ted States of ~merica has allocated certain funds for the building
of a Fire Station in the City of Bremerton for the use of the city of Bremerton, and the city
of Bremerton has agreed to furnish the deed to the United States of America, a suitable
tract of land on which to construct said ffire Station, and
WHEREAS, the following described property has been selected by the United States of
Ame.-ica and by the City of Bremerton as a suitable site for said Fire Station and the city
of Bremerton is the owner of said real property,
NOW THE~EFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Co~ntssion of the'City of Bremerton that the
Mayor and City Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute and deliver
to the United States of America, a quit claim deed, in consideration of the sum of $1.00 and
other valuable consideration, to the following described real property:
~Begtnning at a point 30.00 feet South of the Northeast corner of the Sauthwest
quarter of the Southeast quarter of Section 15, Township 24 N., Range i E., ~.
.. M., and rumning thence South on the East line of said Southwest quarter of the
Southeast quarter 150 feet; thence Westerly and parallel to the North line of
said Southwest quarter of the Southeast quarter 200 feet; thence Northerly and
parallel to the East ~tne of said Southwest quarter of the Southeast quarter
150 feet; thence Easterly and parallel with the North line of said Southwewt
quarter of the Southeast quarter 200 feet to the point of beginning, situated
in Kitsap County, State of Washington.
PASSED by the City Commission of the City of Bremerton, signed by the ~.ayor, and atteste
by the City Clerk in authentication thereof, this eighth day of October, 1941.
