WITEREAS, the improvement of High Avenue from Eleventh Street North
to end; Seventeenth Street from High to Ohio Avenues; Fifteenth Street
from Ohio to Chester Avenues; Fourteenth Street from Ohio to Chester
Avenues; Ohio Avenue from Thirteenth Street North to end; Lincoln Avenue
from Thirteenth to Fifteenth Streets; Chester Avenue from Eleventh to
Fifteenth Streets, in the City of Bremerton, by grading, graveling and
oiling, together with any and all other work necessary to make these
improvements a complete Job; ts a necessary improvement to better traf-
fic conditions and is for proper city street purposes and betterments,
and,
WHERE.2, it will be necessary to receive assistance from some other
source in addition to the property owners adjacent to the Streets and
Avenues heretofore mentioned,
NOW THEREFORE, the City Commission of the City of Bremerton, hereby
makes application requesting the State Highway Department for funds in
the amount of Three Thousand Dollars ($$,000.00), to be granted from
the State Gas Tax funds allocated to the City of Bremerton for construc-
tion purposes, to be used on the grading, graveling and oiling of the
above named streets and avenues as herein set out.
PASSED by the City Commission of the City of Bremerton, signed by
the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in authenitcation of such
passage this 28th day of July, 1941, A. D.
