RESOLUTION NO. 258
WHEREAS, the Assessment Roll for Local Improvement District No. 218, providing for
assessments to pay for the improvement of Nipsic Avenue from ~ast 13th Street to East
16th Street, by clearing, grubbing, grading, surfacing and oiling, has been filed with
the City Clerk of the City of Bremerton,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that ~';'ednesday, the 28th day of October, 1942, at
lO:O0 o'clock A.~.,!., of said day, at the Commission Chambers atthe City Hall of the
City of Bremerton, be and the same is hereby fixed as the tir~e and place for the hear-
ing upon said assessment roll.
BE IT FURTPHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk be and he is hereby authorized and
directed to give notice of the time and place of said hearing to all persons who may
desf. re to object to s~ch assessment roll, to make such objections in writing an¢] file
the same with the City Clerk at or prior to the date fixed for such hearing, by written
notice to the owner, or repute~ owner of the different properties, whose names appear
upon said assessment roll, by mail~r~g a notice thereof at least fifteen days before the
date herein set for s~sch hearing, bo such owner or reputed owner, at the address of
such owner as shown on the tax rolls of the Co~mty Treasurer, for the property described
on said list; that said clerk shall give further notice of such hearing by publishing
such notice at least five times in the official newspaper, the last publication of
which shall be at least fifteen days prior to the date herein fixed for said hearing.
The above mentione~ improvements mentioned include clearing, grubbing, grading, sur-
facing an~ oiling, together with the doing of any and all other work in connection there-
with as may be necesss, ry to make such improvements a complete job.
PASSED by the ~ity Commission of the City of Bremerton, s~gned by the Mayor and
attested by the City Clerk in authentication of such passage, this 23rd day of Septem-
ber, 1942.
