WHEREAS, .She i'rprovement of the West End Approach to the Narrows Bridge on Wash-
ington Avenue in the City of Bremerton, by widening to conform with attached plans snd
quantities, together with any and all other work necessary to make this improvement a
complete Job by the City's own forces, is a necessary improvement to better traffic
conditions.
THAT, it will be necessary to receive assistance from some other source, as no
City funds are available for this work.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Commission of the City of Bremerton, hereby makes appli-
cation requesting the State Highway Department for funds in the amount of One Thousand
Five Hundred and Eight Dollars ($1,508.00) to be granted from the State Gas Tax Funds
sllocated to the City of Bremerton for construction purposes, to be used on the above
named improvement as herein set out.
PASSED by the City Commission of the City of Bremerton, signed by the Mayor and
attested by the City Clerk in authentication of such passage this second day of
September 1942, A. D.
