WHERe. AS, on June 9_9, 1942, a notice calling for bi..'s for the furnishi~.i~ of
materials an~ construction of a 24 inch suoply pipe lfne between the head of Sincla~r
Inlet and First and Wycoff St~'eets in the City of Br~merton, sn/~ also the cor~structi~m
of a 16 inch connecting pipe line on County Road No. 154, by the ~ater [,epartment of
the City of Bremerton, was d~,ly published in the official city newspaper, and the Oa~ly
Journal of Comme~me of Seattle, Washington, which notices of call for bids state5
bids wo~ld be received up to and opened on the 15th day of July, 194~, st the ho~r
1:30 P.M.; and
WHEREAS, the b~ds pursuant to said call for bids have been duly opene~, read,
compared, and it appears that the V,~lley Construction Company is low bidder,
WHEREAS, such bid Is withi~ the ava~!abl~ funds for t~e ~terfals and construct-~r~
of the Water supply pipe line cn said streets and highways by the Water Depsr, tmeut of
the Oity' of Bremerton,
