WHEREAS, an election is being held on this 1st day of July, 1942, in the City of
Bremerton, for the election of fefteen (15) freeholders, to frame a charter for the
government of the City of Bremerton as a city of the first class, and
WHEREAS, no provision is made under the statutes to set a date and olace for the
first meeting of the fifteen freeholders, ~o will be elected at the said elect[on,
and it is considered advisable that the City Com~.~ission of the City of Bremerton set
tile time and place of such meeting, and giving necessary publicity, by publishing
this resolution in the officlsl city newspaper,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the first meeting of the fift<>en freeholders,
who shall be elected on July 1, 1942, for the purpose of framing a charter' for the
government of t~e city of Bremerton as a city of the first class, sh~ll be hel(] in
the Mayor's office at the City Hall, Bremerton, ~ashfngton, on Tuesday, the 7th day
of July, 1942, at 7:30 o'clock P.M.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution be published in the off'~cia]
city newspaper.
PASSED by the City Commlss]on of the City of Bremerton, signed by the Mayor, ~nd
attested by the City Clerk in authentication of s~ch passage, this first day of July,
1942.
