WHEREAS, the assessment roll for Local Improvement District No. 221, Drovld~m~ ~nr
assessments to pay for the improvement of Pitt Avenue from East Eleventh Street to East.
Thirteenth Street; also Harkins ~treet from ~'infield Avenue to Pitt Avenue, by clear-
ing grubbing, grading, graveling and oiling and the construction of concrete s!dews].ks,
has been filed with the City Clerk of the City of Bremerton.
NOW THER~iFORE BE IT RESOLVED that Wednesday, the ~2nd day of July, 1942, at lO
o'clock A.M., of sa_~d day, at the Commission Chambers att he City Hall of the C~ty of
Bremerton, be and the same is hereby fixe~, as the time and place for the hearing
upon said assessment roll.
AND BE IT ~;'URTHE.W RESOLVED, that the City Clerk be and he is hereby authorized
and directed to give notice of the time and place of s~d hearing to all persons who
may desJ. re to object to s~ch assessment roll, to make such objections in writing and
file the same with the City Clerk at or prior to the date fixed for such heari~,g, by
written notice to the owner or reputed owner of the different propert:?es, whose names
appear upon s~ch assessment roll, by mailing a notice thereof at least fifteen (15)
days before the date herein set for such hearing to such owner or recanted owner, at
the address of such owner as shown on the tax rolls of the County Treas,]ret, for the
property described on said list; and shall give further notice of m~ch hearing by
?~blishfng such not, ce at least five times in the official newspaper, the last publ~ca-
tion of wh.~ch shall be at least fifteen days prior to the date here~n f~×ed for ss~d
hearing. The above mentioned improvements include clearing, gru~;btng, grading,
~raveling and oil_~ng and the construction of concrete sidewalks, together with the
doing of shy and all other work in connection therewfth as may be necessary to make
such improvement a complete job.
PASSED by the City ~ommission of the City of Bremerton, signed by the ~ayor, and
attested bythe Oity Clerk in authentication of such passage, th~s lVth day of June, ]942.
