WHEREAS, the Assessment Roll for Local Improvement District No. 222, providing
for assessment to pay for the improvement of Ninth Street from Rainier Avenue to
Olympic Avenue; Tenth Street from Rainer Avenue to Olympic Avenue, and Olympic
Avenue from a point midway between Eighth Street and Ninth Street to Eleventh Street,
on ~'¢est side only, by clearing, grubbing, grading, graveling and oiling, and the
construction of concrete curbs and concrete s~dewalks where necessaFy, has been
filed with the City Clerk of the City of Bremerton,
NOW THEREFOR, BE IT RESOLVED that Wednesday, the 22nd day of July, 1942, at
lO o'clock A.14., of said day, at the Co~ission Ch~bers at the City Hall of the
City of Bremerton, be and the s~e is here'by fixed as the time and place for the
hearing-upon siad assessment roll.
A~I) BE IT }~URTHER R~SOLVED, that the City Clerk be and he is hereby a,~thorize~
an~ directed to give notice of the time and place of ssi5 hearing to all persons
who may desire to object to s~ch assessment roll, to make such objections in writing
and file the same with the City Clerk at or prior to the date fixed for such hearing,
by written notice to the owner or reputed owner of the different properties, whose
names appear upon such assessment roll, by mailing a notice thereof at least fifteen
(15) U. ays befo~'e the ~ate herein set for such hearing to such owner of reputed owner,
at the address of such owner as shown on the tax rolls of the County Treasurer, for
the property descri, bed on saidlist; an~] shall give further notice of such hearing by
publishing such notice at least five times in the official newspaper, the last
publication of which shall be at least fifteen Uays prior to the date herein fixe~ for
sai~] h~arlng. The above mentioned improvements include clearing, ~'rubbing, gradings',
graveling and oiling, and the construction of concrete curbs and concrete s~dewalks
where- necessary, together with the doing of any and all other work in connection there-
with as maTf be necessary to make the job a complete job.
PASSED by the City Commission of the City of Bremerton, signed by the Mayor, and
attested by the City Clerk in authentication of such passage, this 1Vth day of June, 1942
