RESOLUTION NO. ].86
WHEREAS, the County of Kitsap, State of Washington, foreclosed for genera], taxes
on the following described real property in KitsaD County, Washington, to-wit:
Part of Lot 1, Section 13, Township 14, Range 24 1 E. W.M., beginning
933.3 feet North and 162.5 feet East of the S. W. Corner of said Lot l;
thence North 40 feet: thence East to the West line of Sheldon Bo,]levard;
thence Southerly along Boulevard to a point West of beginning; thence
West to beginning.
ALSO
Lots 10 and 11, Block 14, Plat of Charleston,
and the said rea]. property was struck off to said Kitsap County at the tax foreclosure
sale, and at the time of sa~.d sale there were delinquent assessments against said real
property payable to local improvement district or districts in the City of Bremerton
and said City paid to Kitsap County taxes thereon as by law provided, and now has a
Treasu?er's Deed to said property, and the C~.ty of Bremerton is desirous of selling
said property to pay the taxes and delinquent 8ssessments assessed against the said
real property, now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of the City of Bremerton that the C~.ty
Treasurer of said City be and he is hereby directed to sell the property hereinbefore
described at public sale to the highest and. best bidder and the said City Treas~rer is
hereby directed to publish a notice of sale of sa~.d property in a ].egal newspaper
published and of general circulation in the City of Bremerton in three consecutive
issues of such newspaper, which said notice shall set forth the rea] property to be
sold, hereinbe.fore described, together with the time and place of said sale, which shall
be between the hours of 9 o'clock A..~]. and 4 o'clock P.!~. on a date to be fixed by the
said City Treasurer, at the front door of the City Hall in the City of Bremerton,
Washington; and said notice shall further set forth that the said sale may be adjourned
from day to day by said City Treasurer by p~.~blic announcement, made by said City
Treasurer, at the time and place designated in the notice of public sale or at the time
and place at which said sale may be adjourned.
PASSED by the City Commission of the City of Bremerton, signed by the Mayor, and
attested by the City Clerk in authentication of such passage, this 4th day of February,
1942.
