RESOLUTION NO. 399
BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Bremerton, that the account-
ing system in the Water Department known as, "Uniform Classification of Accounts for
Municipal Water Utilities", has been used as a budget record for the year 1944,
resulting that there have been charged amounts totalling in excess of $17,400.00 to
Maintenance and Operation in the Water Department which should have been charged for
salary and wage items for budget purposes.
BE IT'FURTHER RESOLVED; that in order to correct such accounting theCity
Treasurer and City Clerk of the City of Bremerton are hereby directed to transfer
$17,400, from Salaries and Wages in the Water Department to Maintenance and Operation
as follows:
Superintendent Salary and Expenses .... $400.00
Purification .............. 900.00
Supply Expense. . . . -- . . . . . . lO00.O0
Oeneral 0ffioe SuPplies' 'Sa aries ... 4200.O0
Repairs ............... ~0~900.00
Total $17,400.O0
