RESOLUTION NO. 387
WHEREAS, the 1944 official budget adopted for the Fire Department of the City
of Bremerton provided under capital outlay for the expenditure of $2,000.00 for
hydrants and valves, $1,250.00 for drill tower and $500.00 for fire fighting equip-
ment, and
WHEREAS, it is not possible to obtain ~e necessary materials due to the present
war conditions, and
WHEREAS, the Fire Department is in need of a vocal alarm system costing not more

than $1,400.00, and ~ hose costing not more than $2,350.00, now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED that the total sum of $3,750.00 budgeted under capital outlay in
the 1944 Budget for hydrants and valves, drill tower and fire fighting equipment, be
and ~e same is hereby transferred to a fund under capital outlay and budgeted there-
under as follows;
Vocal alarm system $1,400.00
2~" hose 2,380.00
BE IT FURTHER ~ESOLVED that the City Clerk and the City '~easurer take any and
all steps which are or may be necessary to effect such transfer.
PASSED by the City Commission of the City of Bremerton in regular session
assembled, signed by the Mayor, and attested to by the City Clerk in authentication
of such passage this 25th day of October, 1944.
