~IER~AS, the following described real property near Heinz Lake, in Kitsap County,
Washington, is part of the water shed of the City of ~remerton and should be acquired by
the city for the protection of the water, supply, and in order to increase the water suppl~
of the city of Bremerton in the event it is deemed necessary or advisable to drill wells
therein, and has been offered for sale to the city of Bremerton for the sum of ~5000.00~
which the city Council of the City of Bremerton finds to be a reasonable price:
The Northeast Quarter of the Northeast quarter of
Section ~0, Township 24 North, Range 1 East W. M.,
F~tsap County, State of Washington,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Bremerton that the City proceed to
purchase the said real property for the said purchase price from the owners of said
property to-wit, Cora D. Perkins, mussell ~. Perkins, and the ~ational Bank of Commerce,
Seattle, Washington, Trustees of the Estate of Wm. D. Perkins, deceased and ~ora D.
Perkin~, individually, and that the Mayor and City Clerk draw a warrant on the Current
Water ~und in the said sum, in payment of said purchase price.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said warrant shall be delivered to the owner of said
property Or his or their legal representatives, or delivery of a good and valid Warranty
Deed and a purchaser's policy of title insurance in a reliable co~npany following the
approval of details of the transaction by the City Attorney.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton, signed by the Mayor, and
attested by the City Clerk in authentication of such passage, this 16th day of August,
1944.
