WHEREAS~ the bids received for two (2} trucks and two (2) Load Packers have been
duly opened, read and compared, and it appears that Tacoma G.M.C. Truck Company,
~07 Puyallup, Tacoma, Washington, is low bidder.
WHEREAS, such bid is within the available funds of the Garbage Department.
NOW, THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED, that t~e contract for the delivery of said two
(2) trucks and two (2) Load PacXers to the City of Bremerton, Washington, be and
same is hereby awardeU to G.M.C. Truck Company, for the sum of ~10,215.00 (less
any subtractive alternates or Excise Tax in the sum of 9108.00 to be applied) such
award being tentative and conditioned upon government authority to purchase this
equipment.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authroized to
execute such contract as soon as Government releases are procured.
PASSED by the City Council of the ~ity of Bremerton, Washihgton, signed by the
Mayor and attested by the Oity Clerk in authentication of such passage this 26th day
of ~Pril, 1~.
