RESOLUTION NO. 350
WHEREAS, pursuant to Cha~ter 144 of Session Laws of tha State of Washin~ton, 1943,
there is imposed an excise tax on motor vehicles and tra~lers, arid
W[{EFEAS, a portion of said tax is distributed to the City of Bremerton by the
State Treasurer, D~rsuant to the provisions of Section 14 of sa~d Chapter 144, and
such have been received by the City Treasurer of the City of ?.remarton,
~[OW THEREFORE, be it resolved that the City Treasurer of the tit.'~ of Br~n~rton
be and he is b~reby authorized and directed to deposit such funds in a Cund to be
called "Motor Vehicle Excise Fund", s.ud
BE IT FUHTHER RESOLVED, that s,]ch funds shall be ut_~.lized by the City of Bremer-
ton for the purpose of police, fire protectfon and the preservation of the public health,
as provided in Section 14, Session Laws, 194~.
PASSED unanimously by the City Council of the City of Bremerton, signed by the
r~ayor, and attested by the C~_ty Clerk in authentication of .~uch passage, this 1st day
