WHEREAS, the bids received for the construction of a Sewer-Project Wash. 45-172
at Bremerton, Washington have been duly opened, read and compared, and it appears that
The Valley Construction Company is low bidder; and
WHEREAS, such bid is within th% available funds of Project Wash. 45-172;
NOW, T'M~]I~EFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That the contract for the construction of said
Sewer, Project Wash. 45-17~ be and the same is hereby awarded to the Valley Construction
Company, for the sum of Twenty Nine Hundred and Two Dollars and twenty-five cents,
such s~nn being the basic bid of total dollars;
BE IT FURT~{ER RESOLVED, That L. "Hum" Keen, Mayor and E. J. ~cCell, City Clerk
of sstd City Council be and they are hereby authorized to execute such construction
contract and any other documents, agreements or instruments in cozmection therewith
for and on behalf of said City Council.
This award is tentative and may be rescinded or cancelled at any time prior to
written notification to the contemplate,t awardee that the award is final, and suc~
notification is authorized upon receipt by the Owner of appropriate data from the
Regional Engineer, Federal Works Agency.
