W~IEREAS, certain departments of the City of Bremerton, have excess ~nds in
the amounts hereinafter set forth, which are available for investment, and whereas
it is to the best interests of the City of Bremerton, that such f~ds be invested
in interest hearing securities at the present time, now therefore
BE IT RESOLVED that the City Treasurer of the City of Bremerton, be, and he is
hereby instructed to purchase from the following funds in the following amounts:
Cemetery Permanent Care Fund ......... ~ .... $ 3800.00
Water Department .......................... 35,000.00
Fireman's Pension Fund .................... 3000.00
L.I.D. Guarantee Fund ..................... 4000.00
United States Treasury 2~ per cent Coupon Bonds, 1965 to 1970.
PASSED by the City Council, signed by the Mayor, and attested by the City
Clerk in authentication of such passage, this 26th day of January 1944.
