RESOLUTION NO. 413
WHEREAS, the official budget of the City of Bremerton for the year 1945 con-
templates receipt of certain grants from the Federal Government, which have not
been received, snd it is necessary to pay certain salaries as hereinafter set
forth, now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton that the City
Treasurer of the City of Bremerton be and he is hereby directed to Day the salaries
of certain additional firemen, as follows:
~o Captains, at $265.00 per month
Two Lieutenants, at 245.00 per month
Six drivers, at 225.00 per month
Fourteen firemen, st 205.00, 210.00, 215.00 per month
from the General Fund, charging such payments to the emergency wsr-t~me budget
appropriation in the 1945 budget.
IT IS FURTHFR PESOLVED that the City Treasurer be and he is authorized and
directed to transfer the gross amount of above pay-roll for said firemen from the
State Aid Fund to the General Fund until such time as the Federal grant is rec-
eived, and at that time to reimburse the Stste Aid Fund from said Federal grsnt.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton, signed by the Uayor, and
attested by the City Clerk in authentication of s~]ch passage, this 17th da~ of
January, 1945.
