BE IT RESOLYED BY THE CITY' COUNCIL OF T}~E CITY OF BRE~,~RTON:
Section 1. That the public interest requires the following improvements
to be made.
Section 2. That it is the intention of the City Council of the City of

together with the doing of any and all other work in connection therewith
as may be necessary to ma~e such improvements a complete job, all in
accordance with plans and specifications to b~ placed on file in the office
of the City Clerk in the City of Bremerton, reference to,which is hereby
nmde for further particulars.
Section 3~ The City Engineer of the City of Brem~rton is hereby dirocted to
submit to the City Council at or prior to the date fixed for h~aring pro-
tests to said improvements, the estimated cost and expense of such an im-
provement, and a statement of th~ proportionate amount thereof, which should
b~ borne by the propcrty within the proposed assessment district, and a
statement of the aggregate assessed valuation of the real estate, exclusive
of improvements, within such proposed district, according to thc valuation
last plac~a upon it for th~ purpose of a general taxation, together with a
diagram or plan showing thereon the lots, tracts, and parcels of land and
other property which will b~ specially benefited '~h~r~by and the estimated
amount of the cost and oxp~ns¢ of such improvomonts to bo born~ by such lot,
tract or parcel of ~and or other property.
Section ~. That thore shall be assessed'against that portion of the
property lying between the termini of said improvement and extending back
from th~ marginal line of ~ach of said str~ts and alleys so improved to
tho middle of the block on each side thereof, which dist~nc~ shall be at
l~st ninety feet from said street margin, in the mode prescribed by
Section lJ, Chapter 98 of the S~ssion Laws of the State of ~ashington for
1911, and Section 2, Chapter 165 for the Session Laws of 1915, of said
stero, the cost of said improvements except such as may bc borne by any de-
partmont of a~uinistration of the United Stat~s Goverrm~ent and except such
as may b~ borne by any Department or administration of the State of Was~ing-
ton or the United States Gov~rmment for roliof or other purposos.
S~ction 5. The City Clerk be and he is hereby directed to give notice of
the date of such hearing ~o each o~n~r or reputed owner of any and all lots,
tr~cts, or parcels of land, or other property, specially bcnefi~d by 'the
improvement, by m~illng to tho owner or reputed ova~.r of the property as
shown on the tax rolls of ~he County Treasurer, at the aadr~ss shown thereon,
a notice setting forth the nature of the proposed improvements, tho total
estimated cost and' thc esti~t~d benefits ~o th~ particular lot, tract, or
p~rce!, ~nd th~ d~te of th, h~aring before the City
d~ys b~fore thc d~te fi~d herein for such he. ring.
