~KEREAS, the election board or the County of Kitsap
has certified to the City Council the results of an election
held on the 3rd day or July,1945, in Navy Yard City precinct,
Kitsap County, Washington, on the question of whether or not the
following described territory should be annexed to the C.ity of
Bremerton, and
WHEREAS, the said election board has certified that
61 votes were cast in the sai~ election, of which 60 voters were
for annexation and I vote against annexation, and the Board of
County Commtssioners has certified that said proposition for
annmxation did carry according to law, now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Bremerton deems it wise and expedient that the following
described ~erritory , which is contiguous to the City of
Bremerton, should be annexed to the City of Bremerton, said
territory being legally described as follows:
Northwest quarter of Northeast quarter,
Section 22, Township 24 North, Range 1 E.,W.M;
except any portion of Marion Street lying within,
Kitsap County, Washington.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney of the
City of Bremerton is hereby ordered and directed to prepare an
ordinance providing for the annexation of said territory in
due form of law.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton,
signed by the Mayor, and attested by the City Clerk in
authentication of said passage, this ~. day of July, 194§.
